REGISTRATION-REVIEW OF MDOT AUTOMATED MACHINE GUIDANCE DRAFT SPECIFICATION


The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) in association with The University of Southern Mississippi is conducting a 'Roundtable' session. The purpose of the Roundtable is to give stakeholders an opportunity to provide comments regarding a Draft Special Provision for Automated Machine Guidance for MDOT projects that is expected to be piloted in Spring 2010.

MDOT wishes to invite contractors and stakeholders involved in this technology to the Roundtable for their input.

The Roundtable details are as follows:
    Date:        Thursday, December 10th, 2009
    Time:        8:30am – 3:30pm

    Location:       The University of Southern Mississippi
                            Thad Cochran Center, Ballroom 218B
                            Hattiesburg, MS

    Lunch:         Will be provided

    Parking:    Parking passes will be provided for registered attendees as well as a parking lot map.
