How to use NLICE Ė question and answer system for Constuction Estimating

Type in a question in the root node and hit add. The root node question should be a yes or no question that narrows the answer to the orginal question.

 

Do you want solid lines?(Entered in root node)

 

(User hits add then the no field will then let you enter a question. This question will represent what the next person sees if the answer No to the orginal question)

 

Do you want dotted lines? (Entered in no field)

 

(User hits add and the yes field will then let you enter a question. This question will represent what the next person sees if they answer yes to the orginal question)

 

A dotted line represents orginally topograhpy lines (Entered in yes field)

 

(User hits add and the no field will once again let you enter a question. This question will represent what the next person sees if they answer no to the orginal no answer)

 

(Orginal no: Do you want dotted lines?)

 

There are no more lines represented in this tree. (Entered in the no field)

 

(User hits add and the yes field will once again let you enter a question. This question will represent what the next person sees if they answer yes to the orginal no answer)

 

A solid line represents where you want to cut or fill.

 

Simply repeat this process for as many nodes as you want to represent with the tree.
