Virtual Reality Walkthrough of the ICEE Lab

Project Abstract

The Virtual Reality walkthrough is an interactive environment accessible through the Internet that allows users to access different aspects of the Innovation for Construction and Engineering Enhancement (ICEE) Web site by clicking 3D models such as a computer monitor, poster, etc. The Virtual Reality walkthrough provides an opportunity to learn more about ICEE by sharing information of team members, research projects and contact information. The users can visualize the physical distribution of the lab, surrounding buildings, turn on/off lights and even move models in the environment such as chairs and monitors. It is expected that this type of virtual reality walkthrough will allow users to have a more enjoyable experience while learning about the research activities taking place at ICEE.
