Internship: Using VR to Predict the Spread of Wildfires

Project Objective
The objective of my project is to develop software to predict the spread of a wildfire.  Using Rothermel's fire models, data about the forest density, slope, moisture, atmospheric humidity, wind speed and direction are entered into the program.  The program will then output data of the rate and direction of the spread, intensity and flame length, and also a 3D VR model of the fire spread.
